The easiest way to arrive in Brazil is through one of the the three major International Airports:

Guarulhos International Airport [Sao Paulo city, state of Sao Paulo (SP)]
Rio de Janeiro International Airport [Rio de Janeiro city, state of Rio de Janeiro (RJ)]
Confins International Airport [Belo Horizonte, state of Minas Gerais (MG)].

Upon arrival at a Brazilian International Airport look for a bus or taxi to take you to the designated City Bus Station in order to get a bus to Lavras (Remember, Lavras is located in the state of Minas Gerais).

On April 23rd (Sunday), PEMP organization will provide two buses (one in the morning and one in the afternoon) for the PEMP transfer from Guarulhos International Airport (São Paulo city) to Lavras. The return bus (Lavras to Guarulhos International Airport - São Paulo city) will be on April 29th (Saturday). Charged at registration. Limited availability!
